Definitions: By USDA standards, "free-range" can mean any access to the outdoors, even access to a small concrete slab. Know your producer, and ask when in doubt.

Rosie the Organic Chicken and Rocky the Range Chicken can forage in clean, fenced outdoor areas. However, Rocky Jr. is raised indoors (although not in confinement). Both Rocky and Rosie have soy added to their feed.

Shelton Chicken, Shelton Turkey www.sheltons.com
While not organic, no artificial hormones, antibiotics or growth stimulants are given. The turkey is raised in open range pens.
